Long Run Training was held in Old Orhei
On Sunday, April 1, Sporter running club Sporter Run conducted the Long Run training in Old Orhei, in the lead-up to “Hai Haiduci! by Salomon”.
After the athletes got to the training area, the trainer, climber and runner Andrei Hohlov, leader of Exitpoint.md project, instructed the participants on the peculiarities of cross-country running, during the warm-up.
The first couple of kilometers, the athletes ran on the asphalt pavement, but afterwards headed to the rocky terrain where they practiced their cross-country running skills.
The total distance of the race was 15 km.
In total, 25 people attended the training.
“Hai Haiduci! by Salomon” trail race is due on April 22. Both amateur and professional runners can participate. The trail race features the following distances: 8 km, 16 km, and 30 km.
Please be reminded that registration for “Hai Haiduci! by Salomon” is already open.
Everyone is invited to take advantage of the early registration, when the lowest possible costs for participation are available.
