The first Long Run training was held in the lead-up to “Hai Haiduci!”

On Sunday, March 4, Sporter running club Sporter Run conducted the first Sunday Long Run in the lead-up to “Hai Haiduci! by Salomon”.

About 20 amateur athletes gathered for the cross-country training on rough terrain, held in a park in Botanica district around lake #8.

The training was open by a warm-up under the guidance of the Sporter club coach Vitalie Gheorghita.

In addition, before the start of the training, Vitalie instructed the participants on the peculiarities of cross-country running.

At the beginning, the participants ran about lake #8. After the warm-up circle they headed to the forest where they practiced their cross-country running skills.

“Hai Haiduci! by Salomon” trail race is due on April 22. Both amateur and professional runners can participate. The trail race features the following distances: 8 km, 16 km, and 30 km.

Please be reminded about the registration for “Hai Haiduci! by Salomon”, which will open soon. Everyone is invited to take advantage of the early registration, when the lowest possible costs for participation are available.

 Sporter team is going to continue the series of Sunday Long Run trainings in the lead-up to “Hai Haiduci! by Salomon”.
